1. Admission Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree programs:
    Tunisian Baccalaureate granting access to higher education.
  • Master’s degree programs:
    Tunisian Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification related to the chosen field of study.

2. Admission Timeline (Non-EU Students)

  1. Admission is based on a mandatory admission interview.
    The earlier the interview, the higher the chances of admission.
  2. Interview date: 16 December 2025 → Application deadline: 02 December 2025
  3. Interview date: 03 February 2026 → Application deadline: 20 January 2026
  4. Interview date: 17 March 2026 → Application deadline: 03 March 2026

3. Online Application

The application is completed fully online and includes:

  • Personal Information
  • Selection of one or more study programs
  • Selection of the interview date
  • Choice of interview format: online (recommended) or on-site

4. Required Documents

Tunisian students must prepare the following documents:

  1. Valid passport
  2. Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  3. Passport-size photograph
  4. Tunisian Baccalaureate certificate
  5. Bachelor’s degree certificate (for Master’s applicants only)

English language certificate at CEFR level B2, accepted as:

  1. VIELTS / TOEFL / Cambridge English / PTE Academic / LanguageCert, or
  2. Official confirmation from a Tunisian university clearly stating B2 level

Optional:

  1. Employment, internship, or training certificates

5. Legalization of Diplomas (Very Important)

Tunisian diplomas must be officially legalized:

  • Bachelor applicants → Tunisian Baccalaureates
  • Master applicants → Tunisian Bachelor’s degrees

Legalization usually includes:

  • Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Tunisia)
  • Austrian diplomatic representation

Documents must be legalized no later than 3 months before the start of the program.

6. Tuition Fee Deposit

Deposit amount: EUR 726.72:

  1. This amount is credited toward the first year’s tuition fees (EUR 363.36 per semester)
  2. Fully refundable in case of rejection
  3. Payment deadline = application deadline for the selected interview date
  4. Applications are processed only after payment is received

7. Admission Interview

  • Invitation sent approximately 3 days before the interview
    Duration: 20 minutes
  • Interview conducted by two academic representatives

Applicants are expected to:

  • Introduce themselves
  • Explain their study plans and career goals
  • Discuss academic and/or professional experience
  • Interview format: online via MS Teams or on-site

Interview preparation is strongly recommended.

8. After the Admission Interview

  1. Admission result communicated within 14 days
  2. Signed study contract must be returned within 3 weeks
  3. Tuition fee refund is staggered in case of withdrawal
  4. Possibility to move up from the waiting list until the start of studies
  5. Enrollment and onboarding take place during the summer
  6. Access to the online student portal is provided

9. Visa & Residence Permit (Tunisia → Austria)

  • Tunisian students must apply for a Student Residence Permit.
  • Recommended application timeline: at least 6 months before program start

Required documents include:

  • Official admission letter
  • Health insurance (minimum coverage of EUR 30,000)
  • Proof of sufficient financial resources accessible in Austria
  • Proof of accommodation in Austria
